Background:

A group of Christian professionals in Uganda saw the need for a Christian Centre, including a school in Mutukula at the border of Uganda and Tanzania.

This is a high need area with no Christian schools at all. There are many street or parentless children sleeping on verandas along with a high number of refugees from Tanzania and Rwanda. The school are in the area are overcrowded with no qualified teachers.

Bereans Harvest Centre was started to meet these needs.  A school began at the Centre in 2015 with the goal to build a 12 classroom school for Nursery through Primary 3 including two special needs classes.

Since 2022 Classrooms for Africa donors have assisted in building two 3-classroom blocks at the site.
