Background:

Faith Nursery and Primary School is located in Nyemera Village in the Tororo District of Eastern Uganda.

This rural school was started in 2015 and is sponsored by the Christian Fellowship Ministries Church which owns the land on which it is situated. At present the facilities consist of temporary straw and mud structures.

At the time all schools were closed in Uganda in March 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the school’s enrollment was just over 300 students in Kindergarten through Grade 7. The students come from disadvantaged families in the area. The school aims to provide a loving Christian learning environment. The school had a need for permanent, safe and secure classrooms.

Since 2021 nine classrooms have been built thanks to the generosity of a Canadian family.
