In 2006 a church plant was started in the small village of Kamuli, in a remote part of south eastern Rakai District of Uganda, close to the border wtih Tanzania. The Good Samaritan Community Primary and Nursery School is a ministry of the church.
In January 2010, the Good Samaritan Community Nursery and Primary School opened with nearly 200 students in nursery through grade 4.
The school is registered with the Ugandan authorities and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. Many of the students who attend the school are unable to pay fees and are sponsored through Child Care International (Canada).
Good Samaritan Community School has grown to an enrolment of approximately 650 students and now offers Nursery through Primary 7.
