Background:
Tirrim Primary School is located in northern Kenya near the town of Korr. It serves the children of the semi-nomadic Rendille people in a semi-desert and very harsh natural environment. Under the auspices of the Africa Inland Church the primary school started in 2004. The school currently enrols over 1000 students and offers nursery through grade 7. Classrooms for Africa has also helped fund the construction of classrooms at the Tirrim Nomadic Primary, also supported by the Africa Inland Church, which educates students up to grade 3.
