Rwentutu near the Rwenzoris

Rwentutu Christian School is set in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda. The school has recently completed an Early Learning Centre which has been funded by ACSI Western Canada school communities through Classrooms for Africa. The school was started in 2004, and offered a few primary grades to local children. Today the enrollment is over 250 students and covers pre-kindergarten through Grade 7. The current project is the third at the school which was funded through Classrooms for Africa, four-classrooms blocks being build in 2008 and 2010. The pictures below tell the story. Classrooms for Africa representatives will visit the school this year.
