Last Buildings at Aunt Elvi School Now Complete

Since 2011 Classrooms for Africa has been involved of the development of the Aunt Elvi Mikkola Primary School campus in Rukungiri, Western Uganda. The first of three projects funded there was a four-classroom block for the primary students. In 2013 an Early Learning classroom block was completed and in 2014 a permanent kitchen for student meals, library and offices were completed. The projects were under the management of Wesley Forde and the school administration. The new buildings now house over 300 students from Nursery through Grade 7. They provide a very needed and appreciated secure and conducive learning environment for these . Thank you donors from Western Canada for your support and commitment to this school and the education of these children. See other posts in this blog for more images.
