Good Samaritan Primary School, Kamuli, Uganda Update!

In 2013 C4A, with funds donated by ACSI member schools in Western Canada, built three classrooms for the Good Samaritan Primary School, located on the remote south-western border of Uganda.  Prior to this classes were meeting in temporary wood-slatted sheds and under trees. Today the grade 4 – 7 classes use the new classrooms.

We learned that the students sat on bricks on the floor as there were no desks. Early this school year a small school in Abbotsford, BC held some special events to raise funds to provide desks for the students. Now one of the new classrooms is equipped with desks. Currently the same Canadian school is raising more funds to equip another classroom. Thank you Canadian students for your efforts to help these impoverished students in Uganda!
