One Down, One to Go!

Hope Academy at the Village of Hope in Kisumu, Kenya is benefiting from the building of two permanent classrooms through Classrooms for Africa thanks to support from donors in Western Canada. The Kindergarten classroom is already in use, while the second classroom will be occupied by excited Grade 5 students in January 2014 when the new school year starts. In spite of challenges because of torrential rains earlier in the year, the project will be completed by December.
