New Hope Center, Lodwar, Kenya Update!

The project sponsored by C4A in Lodwar, Kenya, consists on building a learning space for the rescued street children who live at the New Hope Center.  These children are housed and cared for and given the opportunity to receive an education. The teachers and staff at the Centre have been trained in administering special curriculum developed by Open Schools Worldwide which is designed to provide basic literacy. The building project started in January 2014 and hopes to complete sometime in April 2014. Thank you donors in Western Canada!
