Amazing Happenings in Luweero!
In September 2013 funds were made available to Amazing Grace Orphanage School in Luweero, Uganda, by a school in Saskatchewan, Canada, to build two classrooms. Previous to this students were housed in temporary wooden sheds.
Funds were raised by the efforts of the students who had caught the vision to help this very needy school. By the end of their school year in 2013, the Canadian students has raised enough to build 2 classrooms. Currently they are working on being able to provide 2 more classrooms by July 2014! Thank you Cornerstone!
Below are some photos of the finished classrooms and students. Pastor Dickson, who oversees the school and building projects writes:
“ . . . I am so glad that God has brought us this far with this project, and we are so excited looking forward to the finish line. Thanks a lot for such a heart, so generous and kingdom-minded that you can work hard to extend a hand of heartfelt help to a people you probably may never meet but care so much to see them live a better life . . .”
